**IMDb Enlists Former Amazon Exec to Lead Streaming Subsidiary**

Following the launch of its free, ad-supported streaming service in 2019 and its premium subscription streaming service in 2020, IMDb has enlisted a former Amazon executive to take the reins of its streaming subsidiary. Former Amazon Studios programming executive Lauren Anderson has been appointed to lead IMDb TV. Anderson will oversee content strategy, development, and acquisitions for the streaming service, reporting directly to Matt Kunitz, head of IMDb and Amazon Studios.
